On the 1st of December 2022 BESH held the 4th edition of the Excellence in Ophthalmology Conference series following a long absence due to COVID.

We were happy to re-launch community and education-based meetings, and it was a great turnout (especially since the timing of the conference coincided with Germany and Spain playing in the FIFA World Cup 🙂 ⚽ )

Our guest speakers were Dr. Leon Au from Manchester Eye Hospital and Dr. Mohamed El Sayed from Moorfields Hospital Dubai – their talks were very well received and generated an interesting debate.

The event was followed by a dinner at the venue.
