The 17^th of September 2022 was World Patient Safety Day, to mark this occasion, and as we do every year, BESH organized an awareness day that was visually communicated to staff, doctors and patients. Staff trainings and tools were shared to facilitate the continuous effort to perfect patient safety. 8 Patient Safety themes were chosen:

• Correct Patient Identification
• Correct Medicine Identification & Consumption
• Safety within the Operating Rooms
• Hygiene
• Patient’s Physical Safety in the Hospital
• Clear Communication
• Safe Blood transfusion techniques
• Staff Vigilance in identifying patient safety risks
